Pattern Revision: Please note that the Cr5R abbreviation should read cross 5 right – slip next 2 sts onto a cable needle and hold at back of work, k3, then p2 from cable needle.

The instruction for the Cr5L would be: Slip the next 3sts to the cable needle, hold at front, p2 sts from the left hand needle and then k3 from the cable needle.

To download the pattern: click on the picture above and the pattern will open in a separate window. Be patient; it can take some time! If that doesn’t work, right-click instead and select ‘Save link as…’ This will save the pattern as a pdf on your computer, which you can then find and print. If you’ve clicked on the pattern and nothing seems to be happening, your computer may have saved it as a pdf; try looking in your ‘Downloads’ folder.

MillaMia Naturally Soft Merino

This 100% Merino wool yarn is super soft, making it ideal for babies and young children. To Sue Carrigan – 2nd November 2013 @ 2.19

Try the larger dolls clothes patterns, quite a lot are suitable for premature baby sizes (it does state on the patterns for premature babies} and work very well.

  13. Shirley Pierce says:

For Sue Carrigan wanting small size cardigans.

try using a pattern for a cardigan using Double Knitting wool but make it using 4 ply wool and 2.75mm and 3mm needles.

I have done this loads of times with cardigans and matinee coats and they usually are approx 2 sizes smaller. For example a 16 inch pattern knits as a size 12 inch.

  14. AD says:

I hate knitting in anything under 4mm! Any other yarn suggestions for this blanket peoples?

    Thanks!

  23. ros long says:

Couple of errors I think ive noted. Zig zag A is over 26st and bobble and wave is over 30. The first pattern row adds up to 184? Therefore increase row is too short. Am I correct?

    Thanks
