Free sock knitting pattern: Araucania Cesta de Flores
Knit up a basket of flowers for your feet
What could be better than a gorgeous hand-painted sock knitting yarn, inspired by the Lake Ranco in Chile and made of 75% sheepswool, combined with 25% nylon to give your socks strength and shape?
How about a beautiful flower-motif sock pattern to go with it? Aurelie Colas has written this charming pattern for Araucania Ranco sock yarn, using stitch textures to create a pretty little flower motif. Cesta de Flores translates to ‘basket of flowers’ and that is just what you will be knitting. With a mock argyle pattern lower down the socks and a choice of toe shapes, this design is intricate enough to keep even the most accomplished knitters entertained!
