Introducing Paintbox Yarns – color, value, and durability

Brand new, and exclusively available at LoveKnitting.com, these 4 new amazing lines from Paintbox Yarns come in 60 beautiful colors. Designed with value, quality and durability in mind, these modern colors are sure to inject some fun into your designs!

Paintbox Simply Chunky

Four New Lines!

Simply DK, Aran and Chunky Acrylic

We’re so excited to share these new yarn lines with you, as we know you’ll love the colors as much as we do. Paintbox has released both cotton and acrylic yarns, giving knitters an array of options. In order to produce a high-quality, durable yarn that is also a great value, Paintbox created three lines using acrylic fibre in a range of weights. With 60 colors to choose from, you can build your own color palettes to match whatever project your working on. The three new acrylic lines are: Acrylic Simply DK, Simply Aran and Simply Chunky.

Simply Cotton DK

Because many of our knitters love working with cotton, Paintbox has also introduced a line called Simply Cotton DK, which comes in 56 different shades.

They are also flexible and easy to work with so that both beginners and longtime makers will enjoy knitting with them. Lastly, all of the Paintbox yarns are durable and reliable, ensuring your projects live long lives!

LoveKnitting color packs – pick your palette

We are in love with the fantastic range of colors available from Paintbox Yarns, and we have bundled some great color packs together for you to choose from. To celebrate the launch of this exciting new brand, Kate and Jennie from the LoveKnitting team have picked their favorite color combinations to inspire you and your next project!

Kate’s Picks:

Seafoam, Washed Teal, Duck Egg Blue, Rich Mauve, Dusty Lilac, Dark Aubergine, Raspberry Pink, Champagne White, Light Caramel and Marine Blue

“I love the aqua tones paired with the rich purples and dark pinks. I think the rich jewel tones would look beautiful as a throw or shawl. I love an ombre effect so I’d probably try and create that with these shades, going from the ocean tones through to the neutral beige colors to really make the colors pop!”

Jenni’s Picks:

Paper White, Dusty Rose, Ballet Pink, Peach Orange, Duck Egg Blue
Banana Cream, Candyfloss Pink, Bright Peach, Misty Grey and Pistachio Green

“There is no denying that I love a pastel palette, and I couldn’t resist the range of pastel pinks the line has to offer! I’ve mixed them with some other pastel hues like Duck Egg Blue (who doesn’t love Duck Egg!) and Banana Cream. This palette of color together would make for a beautiful baby blanket.”

Fabulous colours , any crochet patterns, not clothing

  2. Yvonne Coleman says:

Love the colours but need a women’s cardigan pattern for the cotton DK please before I will order.

  3. LT says:

I don’t like acrylic yarns, they make my hands itch and sweat. There has to be at least 80% natural fibre in a yarn before I will commit. The cotton one might be ok if it was a sport weight. Nice colours though.

  4. vix says:

Fabulous colours! Need to feel the yarn so a small order in the offing. Those blues and purples wonderful and good greens too.

    • Siân says:
