#YARNVENTURE Indoors I am working on a cute fall lace blouse it has been above 95° here in Sacramento. I finally did what I’ve been wanting this summer, I took my yarn from to the beach. Yeah, sun block, beach chair, umbrella and a very cool breeze which made it just the perfect for knitting socks. I think that is my favorite project because I love wearing bed socks in the fall and winter and Christmas is just around the corner. This weekend I will be taking my yarn to Golden Gate Park were it should be no more than 75°. Can’t wait. loveknitting website is so colorful I just love browsing through all their items.

I make socks for my family, friends and co-workers for Christmas – last year 17 pair! I use mostly Paton’s Kroy sock yarn – I love that it is machine wash/dry. I have 4.5 pair done so far for this year. I also have a shawl, Celtic Myths fingering pattern from Ravelry, on my needles – forest green Regia 4 ply. Should be beautiful when it is done. I just finished a pair of kilt socks, with cables for my 16 month old grandson – which he will wear with his little kilt at a wedding this summer. Totally adorable!
Keeps me busy and out of mischief 🙂

I’m working on three projects at once, though my main is an Arabella Shawl. The pattern came from Skeino via Ravelry, but I’m modifying it for me, and using the gorgeous Paintbox DK yarns that I purchased from you about three weeks ago. It’s going to be the colours of the rainbow. The other two projects are beanies.
