Free knitting pattern for babies – gorgeous bootees
As regular readers of this blog will know, I’m looking forward to greeting a baby cousin in December (apparently my cousin’s baby is my ‘first cousin once removed’ – I have a feeling this is going to get complicated…) So maybe we’ve got baby knitting on the brain, but when we decided to stock a great collection of books on our website, this free pattern seemed the perfect thing to get things going!
To download the pattern: clicking on either the picture above should open a new page with the pattern. If that doesn’t work, right-click instead and choose ‘Save link as…’. This will download the pattern as a pdf file in your computer which you can then open and print.
Roses and Violets is from the book Knitted Baby Bootees by Val Pierce, from the 20 to Make series. This lovely little book contains 20 beautiful pairs of baby bootees, each one using a pair of 3.75mm needles and one or two 50g balls of yarn. There’s a handy page of hints and tips at the beginning too, telling you everything you’ll need to know!
The Roses and Violets pattern is knitted using any lilac and pink 4 ply knitting yarn – you can of course choose your own colours!
Don’t forget our book discount too!
We’re pretty excited about our new knitting book collection: we have books for beginners, books of new techniques to learn, books of crochet blocks… Our favourites are the books of adorable toy knitting patterns, household decorations and other tiny projects; so we’re doing the obvious thing and offering a ten percent discount on these gorgeous toy knitting books! Use the discount code TOYTOWN on the basket page to get your reduced price.
