Free Pattern From Bromeleighad

Leigh Martin, the face behind the blog Bromeleighad, is back with us this week with her own pattern to share. You might remember Leigh from Blogger of the Week back in May. She told us all about how she began knitting as a distraction from college work, gathering her inspiration from nature and the difference between a crafter and an artist.

Snowdrift Headband Free Pattern

We love this cosy headband, it’s especially useful for those chilly evenings in Autumn or Spring. Leigh recommends using Mirasol Sulka, a gorgeous 60% Merino Wool, 20% Alpaca, 20% Silk blend. It’s earthy hues are complimented by the silky sheen, leaving with a soft and luxurious texture. Plus, buying any Mirasol yarn supports a school for children of alpaca farmers in the remotest parts of Peru through the Mirasol Project.

There are 14 lovely shades to chose from. Leigh has used Spearmint (225), and it would look lovely in Antique Rose (235), or a more muted tone such as, Steel Grey (231).
