Gorgeous patterns for Mothers’ Day

With Mother’s Day just around the corner, we chose some of the best patterns that mothers, grandmothers, and aunts would love to receive this year.

1. ”Pesto” by Allison LoCicero

For this gorgeous shawl, we recommend Jamieson’s Shetland Spindrift – you’d only need 4 balls to complete this project! We love Moorgrass (0286), Damask (0567), and Lemon (0350) – but this yarn is available in a wide range of beautiful shades!

2. ”Numinous” by Katya Frankel

For this simple and gorgeous pattern, we adore Drops Delight 4 ply yarn. Deliciously soft, economical, and versatile, these self-striping shades cannot be beat when knitting a shawl. You’d need  approximately 4 balls of this yarn – we recommend Pink Purple (06), Grey (01), or Beige Plum Heather (02)!

4. ”Outlander” by Rachel Roden

Outlander shawl for mother's day - get it at LoveKnitting!

This amazing shawl is knitted up with Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sport in any shade available – but we absolutely adore the combination of Farwell (712) and Pullman (510). We can’t get enough of the lace mesh border and the twisting design across the body of the shawl!
