The perfect princess party cardigan

A party cardigan is an essential garment for all little girls. Inspired by the first birthday of Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge, Merion has found some perfect party cardigans for the little princesses in your life!
Cardigans are the perfect accessory for spring and summer, to ward off a cool breeze or rays of strong sunshine on bare arms, and we love them for every day and special occasions too! What makes a party cardi different from an everyday cardi? Is it the yarn? The design? Or a combination of both? Lacework and frills are beautiful, but any simple cardigan can become luxurious and special when knitted in a beautiful yarn with love!
Party cardies can be all colors of the rainbow – not all little princesses are pastel fans – some love sparkles, some love bright pinks and zesty lemons! Short sleeves or long? It’s entirely up to you and the weather!
You might think it’s frivolous of me to say that we remember our early party outfits all our lives – but I do remember the little lemon cardigan that my Grandma knitted for me, with little rose buttons – I loved it! Childhood memories are made of so many things, and party cardigans are precious!
