Texts from my WIPs

If our projects could talk, what would they say? These texts reveal the highs and lows of our relationships with our WIPs.

Do you have a project that’s the jealous type?

I wish my WIP could send a jolt through the needles when I’ve gone off pattern. How useful would that be? Or I guess I could pay more attention…

  2. Jenny Y says:

Love this! I can hear my WIP’s shouting out to me right now.

  3. J Murfitt says:

    I’ve missed you
    *wait, who is this?*
The orange cardigan you so cruelly stuffed into the back of your closet
*OMG, I told you, we are over!*
    But your mom LOVED me!
*yeah, until you looked so… well, orange*
Its MY fault you were in such a rush to put me together? Or that you were colorblind towards my cashmere softness?
*have you heard of the word ‘frog’?*
Now you are just being mean
    *Salvation Army will take you.*
If I was finished EVERYONE would want me. Just think… Cashmere, soft beautiful Cashmere!
*maybe I could over dye you? Something less OMG orange?*
I remember when you called me stunning!
*should I frog first or dye after knitting it up? I need to call my LYS. Chat l8r*
    Wait, dont do this!

I so have an orange sweater that is saying this very thing!!! Except that I didn’t finish. so the voice is coming from the closet… finish me……. finish me…….(along with a pair of socks / arm warmers / blanket /… the list goes on and on … and the voices in my head!

  5. Sandi says:

Put me up for adoption to a kind & loving, color-blind person who will finally accept me just the way I am. After all, I am soft & love to snuggle.

MJ, the SKEINdinavian agrees wholeheartedly and says to my WIP, “I’m sorry, so sorry, I have so many miles to go before I sleep, but I WILL GET BACK TO YOU, MY BELOVED. PROMISE!”

  7. Svetlana says:

Good afternoon. I have no problems with ordering, but I still have not received a reply on the delivery of the order Shipment #200915854 for Order #201455551.
How can I make a new order if YOU did not fulfill the obligations under the previous order?
I will leave negative feedback about your site, I have no other way out
