Valentine’s patterns for baby
It’s not too late – you can still knit something adorable for the tiny humans in your life. Here are 4 patterns you can knit for the small loved ones in your life. Straight from our independent designers, you can’t go wrong with these patterns!
A perfect size for a baby blanket, this adorable pattern is perfect to gift to a tiny loved one this Valentine’s Day. the Betsi Blanket uses basic lace and cable stitches, perfect for a knitter who wants to learn new techniques! You can use any worsted, aran weight wool; we love Robin Bonny Babe Aran for it’s super soft feel and easy-wash care. Lilac White (1876) is fabulous, along with Candy Pink (1874) or Mint (1875)!
Available in 2 sizes to fit 0 – 3 months and 6 – 12 months, these booties couldn’t be any cuter! The older size uses 4 ply yarn, like Sirdar Snuggly 4 ply. This yarn was developed for sensitive skin, so it’s perfect for these heart booties. We love Petal Pink (212) and Cream (303) or Periwinkle (447) and White (251)!
This dress from Ella Austin is too cute for words – and just in time for Valentine’s Day! It can be perfectly paired with a long sleeve undershirt or a cardigan. This pattern is knit flat in three sections and uses simple techniques to create this adorable dress. You’ll need some Debbie Bliss Rialto 4 ply yarn in shades Red (009) and Fuchsia (022), as seen here!
This adorable crocheted hat simply can’t be beat – the love bug hat uses any worsted, aran weight yarn. We really love King Cole Big Value Aran for its super soft premium acrylic yarn and for its wide range of shades! For this hat, we’d choose Cranberry (119) and Pink Mist (115)!
