“Schachenmayr Lumio”??? What the HELL is that?

  2. What is the answer to this?

    • Faith says:

Each person may have a different answer – take the quiz and let us know what you get! 🙂

  3. Pat says:

Not even close on the yarn it chose for me…not impressed

  4. Karen Inglis says:

Thanks for quiz. I’m a Designer Yarns Jester. So funny as that describes me. I mostly do novelty knitting so I have to invent a lot of patterns myself. I’m very inventive as I have a wild imagination and most people are happy with the things I make. I have loads of fun knitting. X

    • Carly says:

Hi Karen, sounds like that is the perfect yarn for you! Glad to hear you enjoyed the quiz.

  5. Elaine says:

    I am Mirasol Api

  6. suzanne says:

Rowan big wool, i do love chunky knits! :o)

  7. Catherine A. McClarey says:

Apparently I’m Rowan Fine Lace, which is a much fancier yarn than I was expecting as a result (I thought I’d be Red Heart Super Saver, Phentex Craft & Slipper, or maybe Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice at best). The only problem is that I never crochet with laceweight yarn; other than making doll clothes from fingering-weight yarn, I’m solidly a DK/worsted/Aran/bulky yarn crocheter (and I’m more likely to double-strand the DK yarn in a bulky yarn project than to use it in a project which would actually call for DK yarn)). I also don’t use natural-fiber yarns very often; other than a shrug WIP for me I started in December, all of my current & near-future projects are (mostly) charity crochet, all calling for acrylic yarns.

    • Faith says:

We’re all multi-dimensional characters so maybe this just represents one part of your personality!

  26. Pauline says:

Mirasol Api. description describes me perfectly

  27. Chris says:

I came up as Rowan Big wool, which is absolute rubbish! I really do not enjoy working with thick yarn: if I had to opt for something from Rowan, it would be more like Fine Lace. I did use Big Wool once, but never again.

  28. Yes, that’s me! I’m also a writer. I like to knit, crochet. gifts for friends. I’ve made and sold jewelry.

  29. Rosemary Davis says:

  39. Kimberly says:

Not sure if whatever I entered can even count for answers: I do not have a television, do not watch Doctor Who, nor do I vacation in any of the suggested locales.

  40. Alison says:

I’m Hayfield bonus DK which is funny as that is exactly what I am knitting with at the moment. :0)

  41. Susannah says:

I am fine lace…?! Are you kidding?! How did this happen! I was rough chunky the last time I looked. This quiz couldn’t have been more wrong. I knit best with DK. Any needle size smaller than 4mm would make me go blind or insane or both!

    • Carly says:

Hi Susannah, sorry to hear we didn’t get the right yarn to match your personality, I guess your refined and elegant tastes just shone through during the quiz!

  42. Macy says:

    Cool survey

  49. Sheryl says:

Thanks, it was fun and you even got the chunky part right .. lol

  50. Alison says:

The What Yarn Are You? survey isn’t working anymore. Can you send a working version to my email?

    • Carly says:

Hi Ali, can you let me know what isn’t working? We want everyone to enjoy the quiz! Unfortunately, as it’s something we’ve created here on our site it can’t be sent in an email. Please let me know how I can help.

  69. Kim says:

    This quiz has no answer

  70. Lynn says:

Had to answer some questions untruthfully as I don’t like any of the options, and living in Australia the shops are not relevant. Got to the end, however, and it just stops — no answer! Either it isn’t working properly or my mix of answers confounded it.

  71. Mary says:

    Last question doesn’t work.

  72. Adriana says:

I must have confused it. No yarn was displayed for me. : (
